Tech Desk: Hero Vida, the electric two-wheeler arm of Hero MotoCorp, has unveiled a highly anticipated new version of its electric youth motorcycle, the Vida Dirt.E K3 6Days Limited Edition. This exclusive model made its debut in Portugal, coinciding with the historic 100th Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) International Six Days Enduro (ISDE), an off-road race with roots tracing back to 1913.

Production of this special edition is strictly capped at just 100 units worldwide, each motorcycle serving as a unique tribute to one of the 100 editions of the iconic ISDE race. Distinguishing features include official 6Days logos and a striking red and green color scheme, meticulously chosen to mirror the flag of Portugal, this year’s host nation. Beyond these cosmetic enhancements, the limited edition retains the robust mechanicals of the standard Dirt.E K3.

The base Dirt.E K3, originally launched to cater specifically to young riders, boasts an innovative modular design. This allows parents to easily adjust the bike’s proportions – including handlebar height, footpeg position, and seat height – using just an allen key. This thoughtful feature ensures the motorcycle can adapt as a child grows, offering sustained comfort and proper ergonomics.

Powering this mini dirt bike is a capable 500W motor, enabling top speeds of 23-25 kph. It comes equipped with a removable 350Wh battery pack, which fully charges in approximately three hours. Riders can choose from three distinct modes: Beginner (8 kph), Amateur (16 kph), and Pro (25 kph), allowing for progressive skill development.

While the standard Dirt.E K3 is currently priced at Rs 89,990, Hero Vida has yet to announce pricing or availability timelines for the Vida Dirt.E K3 6Days Limited Edition. Given its exclusive, limited-run nature and commemorative significance, prospective buyers can certainly anticipate a premium price point for this unique electric off-roader.
