Google Dreambeans App India Launch: AI-Powered Personalized Stories Arrive

Google Dreambeans App India

Tech Desk: Google has officially launched its experimental Dreambeans App in India, bringing AI-powered personalized story collections to users aged 18 and above. This marks India as the first international market for the innovative Google Labs experiment, previously rolled out in the US. Now available on both Android and iOS, the app promises a unique content discovery experience tailored to individual interests.

The Google Dreambeans App leverages information from selected Google services—including Gmail, Calendar, Photos, Search, Gemini, and YouTube—to generate daily visual stories. Users no longer need to scroll through feeds or enter prompts; Dreambeans proactively surfaces relevant content covering topics like travel destinations, arts, local events, and reminders, presented in an engaging story format.

Designed to simplify information access, Dreambeans allows users to explore individual stories, bookmark them for later, or share them effortlessly. A notable feature is its ability to animate images within select stories using Google’s Veo video-generation model, enhancing visual appeal. The app supports 14 Indian languages, though users can select only one at a time for their personalized narratives, ensuring a truly localized experience. Google actively encourages user feedback to continuously refine the story generation process.
