Tech Desk: India’s pioneering AI unicorn, Sarvam, is set to revolutionize its engagement with the developer and creator community through the launch of its new “Sarvam Champions” program. This initiative offers early access to Sarvam’s cutting-edge AI models and tools, empowering local tech leaders and content creators to shape the future of artificial intelligence in India. It marks a significant step towards fostering a vibrant, homegrown AI ecosystem.

The Sarvam Champions program features two distinct tracks: “Creators” and “City Leads.” Creators, already building with Sarvam’s tools, will generate tutorials, showcase real-world projects, and provide invaluable feedback, directly influencing product development. City Leads, on the other hand, will spearhead local developer communities, organizing meet-ups and workshops to educate and connect builders, with Sarvam providing funding and resources for approved events.

This strategic move follows Sarvam’s recent announcements at Epoch 2026, where it unveiled Vision 2.0 and Bulbul V4, alongside plans for a trillion-plus-parameter flagship model. By involving a broader community, Sarvam aims to accelerate innovation and ensure its AI solutions are deeply integrated with real-world needs and creative applications.

The selection process for Sarvam Champions involves self-application or nomination, requiring creators to submit technical content or builds, while city leads detail their community involvement and qualifications. Backed by investors like IndiGo Ventures, HCLTech, and Nvidia, Sarvam’s $1.5 billion valuation underscores its commitment to leading India’s AI transformation.
