Visually, the 2028 XC40 sports a distinctly more contemporary front end with simplified lines and revised “Thor’s hammer” headlights. Inside, a larger 11.2-inch display now powers the latest Android Automotive software, integrating Google’s Gemini AI for intuitive voice control over vehicle settings and infotainment. This upgrade promises a more connected and user-friendly cabin experience.

Underneath its refreshed skin, the XC40 also gains an improved sensing package, featuring high-resolution cameras and updated radar.
