Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition Launched from Rs 9.09 Lakh with Enhanced Interiors

Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition

Tech Desk: Citroen has rolled out a new Comfort Edition for its Aircross SUV, bringing notable interior upgrades and a competitive starting price of Rs 9.09 lakh (ex-showroom). This limited-run variant targets buyers seeking enhanced cabin aesthetics and comfort, available across the base ‘You’ and mid-spec ‘Plus’ trims, offering an immediate value proposition in the crowded midsize SUV segment.

The highlight of the Citroen Aircross Comfort Edition is its sophisticated beige leatherette upholstery, paired with adjustable front and rear headrests for improved passenger comfort on longer journeys. The interior also receives a refined black-grained finish on trim elements, complemented by soft-touch finishes and subtle silver accents, collectively elevating the cabin’s premium feel and tactile quality.

Priced at a modest Rs 20,000 premium over the base ‘You’ trim, the Comfort Edition offers significant value, especially considering the interior enhancements. Interestingly, it’s available with the ‘Plus’ variant at no additional cost, making it an even more attractive proposition for mid-spec buyers. Citroen further allows personalization with optional custom packs for all Aircross variants, adding features like a 10-inch touchscreen or a JBL audio system.

Under the hood, the Aircross continues to offer a choice between an 82hp 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and a more powerful 110hp 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit, catering to different performance needs. This midsize SUV continues its fight against established rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos, aiming to carve out a niche with its distinct French design and now, enhanced comfort features, appealing to families and urban explorers alike.
