Tech Desk: Mahindra has significantly expanded its popular XUV 3XO RevX lineup with the introduction of the new RevX Edge trim, making premium features previously reserved for higher variants surprisingly accessible. Starting at just Rs 9.39 lakh (ex-showroom), this strategic move aims to offer greater value to buyers.

The RevX Edge and RevX Edge (O) trims are positioned centrally within the XUV 3XO range, slotting above the RevX M variants. Key upgrades for the RevX Edge include a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rearview camera, and cruise control. The RevX Edge (O) further sweetens the deal with a panoramic sunroof, roof rails, auto headlamps, and push-button start, ensuring a richer driving experience.

Under the hood, the powertrain options have been diversified. The RevX range now includes the robust 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with both manual and AMT gearboxes, alongside a more affordable 1.2-litre turbo-petrol automatic variant. Notably, the 131hp TGDi turbo-petrol engine is no longer offered with the RevX trims, streamlining the lineup for a broader appeal. All XUV 3XO models continue to offer standard safety features like six airbags and ESC, ensuring peace of mind.

With these updates, Mahindra has not only made advanced features more attainable but also broadened the choice of engines, appealing to a wider spectrum of customers looking for a feature-packed and safe compact SUV.
