Tech Desk: Oppo is gearing up for a significant double launch in India, with the highly anticipated Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition and Oppo Enco X4 earbuds set to debut. While an official launch date remains under wraps, expectations are high for a rollout closely following the October 13 introduction of ColorOS 17, Oppo’s Android 17-based OS. The company has already dropped tantalizing hints about the features of both devices, building considerable buzz.

The Oppo Pad Mini Matte Display Edition, teased extensively on X, promises a premium experience for productivity and creativity. It boasts a compact design centered around an 8.8-inch screen framed by ultra-thin 2.9mm bezels, making it ideal for comfortable one-handed use. Oppo highlights its suitability for note-taking, reading, and creative projects, particularly for users on the go. The matte display is specifically designed to appeal to those who value a glare-free experience for extended use, with stylus support further enhancing its versatility. The Chinese variant, already available, features an AMOLED display, Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, and an 8,000mAh battery.

Accompanying the tablet, the Oppo Enco X4 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds are poised to redefine portable audio. Oppo has confirmed support for lossless audio transmission at an impressive 2.3Mbps, alongside Hi-Res Audio and LHDC 5.0, ensuring an uncompromised listening experience. Tuned by Dynaudio, the Enco X4 aims to deliver rich, detailed sound that retains the original character of music.

Beyond audio fidelity, the Enco X4 emphasizes superior noise cancellation and immersive sound. The China model features a sophisticated coaxial dual-driver setup, combining an 11mm dynamic woofer with a 6mm planar tweeter, also co-tuned with Dynaudio. Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and spatial audio capabilities promise an immersive, distraction-free environment. With up to 13 hours of playback on the earbuds alone and 53 hours with the charging case, plus an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance, the Enco X4 is built for endurance and durability.
