Apple October 2026 Launches: Touchscreen MacBook Pro, M6 iMac, OLED iPad Mini Expected

Apple October 2026 launches

Tech Desk: Apple is gearing up for a significant product event in October 2026, with industry buzz hinting at revolutionary updates. Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reports that a media event in Los Angeles on October 28 could unveil a touchscreen MacBook Pro, an M6-powered iMac, and an OLED iPad Mini. This move signals a potential shift in Apple’s hardware philosophy, especially with the rumored integration of touch technology into its iconic MacBook Pro lineup.

While Apple has yet to officially confirm most of these highly anticipated products, the company has announced the availability of the iPhone Duo in India from October 23, with pre-orders opening on October 16. Additionally, a new 512GB unified memory configuration for the Mac Studio is also confirmed for release by the end of October.

Beyond the flagship devices, reports suggest a thinner and lighter 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, potentially with M5 Pro/Max chips, and an OLED panel for superior visuals. The M6 chip could also power new 14-inch MacBook Pros and a redesigned 24-inch iMac with fresh colors. An OLED iPad Mini, featuring an A20 Pro chipset, landscape front camera, and enhanced water resistance, is also on the cards. Expect potential software updates like iOS 27.2 and macOS 27.2, hinting at expanded Siri AI language support.
