Renault Duster On-Road Prices: Bengaluru Hits Highest, Chandigarh Offers Lowest Deals

Renault Duster on-road prices

Tech Desk: The highly anticipated Renault Duster has hit Indian showrooms with a significant price spectrum, ranging from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, for prospective buyers, the real story lies in the city-specific on-road prices, which show a remarkable difference of over Rs 2 lakh for top-spec variants between major metros. Bengaluru consistently sees the highest prices, while Chandigarh offers the most budget-friendly options for the new Duster.

For instance, the entry-level Authentic 1.0 MT turbo-petrol variant costs Rs 12.91 lakh in Bengaluru, but only Rs 11.75 lakh in Chandigarh—a saving of Rs 1.16 lakh. Similarly, the top-tier Iconic 1.3 DCT variant will set buyers back Rs 22.75 lakh in Bengaluru, compared to Rs 20.71 lakh in Chandigarh, a substantial gap of Rs 2.04 lakh.

The new Duster lineup now includes a hybrid powertrain alongside its existing turbo-petrol engines, available across seven trims: Authentic, Evolution, Adventure, Techno, Techno+, Iconic, and Emotion. The hybrid variants also follow the same pricing trend. The most accessible hybrid, Evolution 1.8 AT, is priced at Rs 19.03 lakh in Chandigarh, while the top-spec Emotion 1.8 AT reaches Rs 23.98 lakh in Bengaluru. This highlights a staggering Rs 4.95 lakh difference for hybrid models across cities. Buyers are advised to check with local dealerships for precise figures, as on-road prices include city-specific charges like registration, insurance, and RTO fees.
