Deepinder Goyal Temple wearable

Tech Desk: Zomato co-founder Deepinder Goyal’s much-anticipated brain-monitoring device, the Temple wearable, is set to open for pre-orders on November 1, 2026, with an early access price reportedly pegged at ₹85,000. This premium cost includes a lifetime subscription to its services, positioning it as a significant entrant in the high-end wellness tech market.

The Temple device, developed by Goyal’s new venture, utilizes advanced BrainFlow technology to measure subtle changes in cerebral blood flow, offering users insights into their ‘physiological strain’. It generates an ‘Entropy score’ between 1 and 250, influenced by factors like sleep, caffeine, exercise, and stress, helping individuals understand their body’s responses to various stimuli. Designed for wellness and research, it’s explicitly not for diagnosing medical conditions.

Initially, the Temple wearable will be available in a highly limited Batch 01, with deliveries expected within three months of purchase. Goyal emphasized a “grow slow” approach, prioritizing quality control and exceptional customer service over mass production. The device, which attaches to the head with disposable ‘grips’, is durable enough for running, swimming, and showering, but not scuba diving.

Adding a touch of personal style, the Temple wearable will launch in six distinct colorways, including True Gold and the limited-edition Real Jade. Its public profile has already been boosted by sightings of Goyal himself and badminton star PV Sindhu sporting the device, building considerable buzz ahead of its official launch.
