British MP Urges India’s Five Eyes Inclusion Citing Pakistan Sponsored Terrorism and Khalistani Threat

Pakistan sponsored terrorism

Tech Desk: British MP Bob Blackman is strongly advocating for India’s inclusion in the Five Eyes intelligence alliance, citing escalating threats from Pakistan sponsored terrorism and Khalistani extremism. This move, he asserts, is crucial for both India and the United Kingdom’s national security, allowing for vital intelligence sharing to preempt potential attacks. Blackman highlighted Pakistan’s continuous promotion of terrorist activities, which directly imperil India, emphasizing the need for a collaborative global response.

The Conservative Party leader underscored that Khalistani extremism also poses a direct and growing threat to both nations, necessitating closer intelligence cooperation. Currently, the Five Eyes alliance comprises the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the UK. Integrating India, the world’s largest democracy, would significantly bolster its capability to counter these multifaceted security challenges.

Blackman further lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, crediting him with transforming Gujarat and subsequently India’s economy, empowering the poor, and elevating India’s stature on the global stage. He also called for India’s permanent seat on the UN Security Council and recognized its strategic role in balancing China’s growing influence. Additionally, Blackman advocated for government funding for Hindu temples’ security in the UK, acknowledging the significant contributions of the Indian diaspora.
