OPPO Find X9 Price Soars in India by Rs. 10,000 Amidst Stock Shortages

OPPO Find X9 price hike

Tech Desk: OPPO’s flagship Find X9 smartphone is set for a significant price increase in India, with reports indicating a Rs. 10,000 hike across its variants. This move comes as the device is already facing availability issues, with many configurations reportedly out of stock. The price adjustment is expected to push the starting price to Rs. 84,999, a substantial jump from its initial launch price of Rs. 74,999 last November.

Retailers have reportedly received price revision notices, though OPPO’s official channels are yet to be updated. The 12GB RAM + 256GB model is rumored to climb from Rs. 74,999 to Rs. 84,999, while the 16GB + 512GB variant could see its price rise from Rs. 84,999 to Rs. 94,999. Some major retailers, however, have already begun reflecting these new prices online, lending credibility to the reports.

Industry observers suggest that rising global component and memory costs might be driving this decision. The scarcity of the Find X9, especially the higher-end variant, adds another layer of intrigue, hinting at potential inventory management challenges or a strategic shift towards newer models like the recently launched Find X9s. The Find X9s, despite offering superior hardware, was launched at a higher price point, making this price adjustment for the Find X9 a move to re-establish market hierarchy.

Despite the impending price hike, the OPPO Find X9 remains a compelling device, lauded for its balanced flagship features, including versatile Hasselblad cameras, a robust 7,000mAh battery, and a smooth 6.59-inch display. Interested buyers might want to act fast to secure the device at its current pricing before the revision takes effect.
