Hero Passion Pro Disc Variant Launched: Enhanced Braking and Tech for Rs 84,128

Hero Passion Pro Disc

Tech Desk: Hero MotoCorp has expanded its popular Passion Pro lineup with the introduction of a new Disc variant, priced at Rs 84,128 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This move brings a significant upgrade in braking power and modern digital features to its premium 100cc commuter segment.

The most notable enhancement is the addition of a 240mm front disc brake, replacing the drum unit on the standard model. This upgrade promises more confident and consistent stopping power, a crucial improvement for rider safety. Complementing the improved braking is a new Bluetooth-compatible fully digital display. This advanced console offers real-time mileage indicators, service reminders, call/SMS alerts, and a low-fuel warning, keeping riders informed and connected.

Underneath, the Passion Pro Disc retains Hero’s reliable 97.2cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 8hp and 8.05Nm of torque. Paired with a 4-speed gearbox and Hero’s i3S start-stop technology, it aims for an impressive claimed fuel economy of 71kpl. The bike also includes practical features like a side-stand engine cut-off and a USB charging port within a small storage cubby.

Available in four refreshed color options, the Passion Pro Disc variant is positioned as the most premium offering in Hero’s 100cc range. It stands out as one of the few in its segment to offer a front disc brake, giving it a competitive edge against rivals that typically lack this feature.
