This new budget-friendly smartphone series from Xiaomi is turning heads, primarily due to the Redmi 17 5G’s astonishing 7,500mAh battery – a capacity rarely seen in its segment, especially for a global release. Interestingly, the global Redmi 17 5G differs significantly from its Chinese counterpart. Pricing in Malaysia starts at MYR 669 (approx. Rs 16,000) for the Redmi 17 4G, with the 5G model beginning at MYR 769 (approx. Rs 18,000). Both are currently available via Xiaomi’s online store.
