Tata Curvv Series X Debuts: Prices Start at Rs 10 Lakh with Major Feature Upgrades

Tata Curvv Series X

Tech Desk: Tata Motors has officially launched the Curvv Series X, aggressively priced from Rs 10 lakh to Rs 19 lakh (ex-showroom). This new lineup brings a significant reshuffle, making premium features previously exclusive to higher variants now accessible in lower and mid-spec models. Enthusiasts will also cheer the expanded availability of the popular Dark edition across a broader range of trims, while the robust three-engine powertrain options continue unchanged.

The Smart X variant kicks off the series at Rs 10 lakh, a slight adjustment from the previous base model. Notably, Tata has narrowed the price gap between petrol and diesel options, now at Rs 1.3 lakh, and reduced the premium for the automatic gearbox to the same figure, enhancing value for buyers.

Inside, the Curvv Series X elevates the driving experience. The 10.25-inch infotainment screen, complete with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, now comes standard from the Pure X trim. Key features like automatic climate control, cruise control, and push-button start are more widely available. Higher variants boast a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and improved rear-seat space thanks to design tweaks.

Safety remains paramount with six airbags, ESP, hill-hold control, and ABS with EBD across the range. Top-tier models introduce a larger 12.3-inch infotainment, a nine-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated front seats, Level 2 ADAS, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, offering a truly premium package. The SUV-coupe design, flush door handles, and new black grille treatment maintain its distinctive exterior appeal.
