Tech Desk: Hero MotoCorp is making its E85-compliant flex-fuel motorcycles even more accessible by offering a significant Rs 4,000 discount on the Splendor+ Flex and HF Deluxe Flex. This limited-time offer, valid until July 2026, brings the starting price for Hero’s innovative flex-fuel range down to an attractive Rs 68,792.

The move aims to boost adoption of the E85-compatible models, which can run on fuel blends ranging from E20 to E85. While the Splendor+ Flex now costs just Rs 1,153 more than its E20 counterpart, the HF Deluxe Flex becomes Rs 1,650 cheaper than its E20 i3S Cast variant after the discount. This makes the environmental benefits of flex-fuel technology more affordable than ever.

Under the hood, both bikes retain Hero’s reliable 97.2cc single-cylinder engine. However, it has been adapted with revised ECU calibration and upgraded fuel system components, including a new fuel pump and secondary fuel filter, to handle higher ethanol concentrations. In E85 guise, the engine delivers 8.6hp and 8.3Nm of torque.

Initially launching in Delhi and select Maharashtra regions, these flex-fuel models represent Hero’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. The substantial discount makes them a compelling choice for budget-conscious riders looking to embrace cleaner fuel options.
