Surprisingly, this special variant is priced identically to the higher-spec Model S (O) trim, starting at Rs 26.70 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive proposition for enthusiasts.

Limited to just 85 units, this exclusive SUV stands out with distinct exterior decals, sleek gloss-black alloy wheels, and a sophisticated all-black cabin featuring striking Mayan Gold accents. The interior boasts black leatherette upholstery with gold stitching, complemented by ambient lighting and illuminated elements on the panoramic sunroof, creating a premium feel.

While the core 2.0-litre diesel engine (170hp, 350Nm) with its 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission options remains unchanged, the 85th Anniversary Edition offers an optional AXS accessory pack. This pack includes desirable additions like a digital inside rearview mirror (IRVM) and front and rear dashcams, enhancing both convenience and safety.

Standard features from the Model S (O) trim, such as ventilated front seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, and a 9-speaker Alpine sound system, are all retained. Bookings are now open across pan-India Jeep dealerships and on the official Jeep India website for this limited-run model, though the price of the accessory pack is yet to be revealed.
