Vivo X Fold 6 launch

Tech Desk: Vivo has officially confirmed the highly anticipated X Fold 6 foldable phone will launch in China on June 26 at 7:00 PM CST. Excitingly, online pre-orders are already live across mainland platforms, offering a chance for early birds to win the device for free through a lucky draw.

Dubbed a “foldable mini DSLR,” the X Fold 6 boasts a revolutionary camera system. It features a massive 200MP sensor and introduces the first-ever Zeiss APO super periscope telephoto lens on a foldable. With support for a 200mm equivalent focal length and Vivo’s Blueprint V3+ imaging chip, it promises unparalleled mobile photography capabilities.

Under the hood, the X Fold 6 is powered by the custom-designed MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition, engineered specifically for foldables. Vivo claims this chip offers a significant boost in NPU performance and a substantial reduction in power consumption compared to its predecessors.

The device will also debut with OriginOS 6 Fold and an enhanced Atomic Workbench, optimizing the user experience for its foldable display. Pricing and full availability details will be revealed at the launch event.
